What is Claude Motion?
Anthropic describes Claude Motion as an animation artifact that turns a prompt and your existing material into editable, code-driven motion. It can animate words, shapes, charts and screenshots and export MP4. It does not generate realistic human footage. Its official beta is offered on Claude Team and Enterprise workspaces.

In an eligible Claude workspace, ask for an animation, select Output → Motion, or pick a Motion template under Artifacts.
- 2. Provide original source material.
Attach accurate screenshots, brand assets and product copy. Specify the audience, platform and approximate length.
- 3. Refine precisely.
Ask for edits to a scene, color, sentence or timing. Code-driven motion allows local corrections without remaking imagined footage.
- 4. Export MP4.
Review the result and export a video. Audio generation inside the official Motion feature is not currently documented.

From a website URL to a promotional video
The practical opportunity is to start with a public website, preserve its actual screenshots and copy, and turn those assets into short ads using reusable motion templates. This is different from creating a fictional screenshot with a video diffusion model. An automated URL-to-MP4 product requires a URL capture service, storyboard generation, template selection, a render worker and quality checks.

An LLM can write a storyboard and code that animates real text, screenshots and shapes. React Motion and Remotion are separate developer tools, not the Claude Motion product.

Render the approved animation to MP4, review legibility and accuracy, and add voice or music separately when needed.
