Direct one scene in writing, then pin its look with frames or reference images when the shot needs to stay consistent.
Review the input type and core settings before starting your own version.
Explore the examples, compare the visual choices, and open a card for a prompt or input guide. Published source records and editorial reference prompts are distinguished below. File dimensions and duration describe the downloaded asset.
Start with a scene brief. For bookended or reference-led shots, add the first and last frame, or the reference images, videos and audio requested by the generator.
Play the clip and inspect the beginning, middle and end. Compare the subject, motion, camera path and sound; a thumbnail cannot establish temporal consistency.
These are selected external examples, not a promise that a prompt will reproduce the same result. Model versions, references and settings can change the outcome.

Example 01
A focused brief turns one story beat into a finished shot with defined camera movement.
Example 02
A first and last frame fix the opening and closing composition while the brief directs the movement between them.
Example 03
A set of reference images holds a character and art direction steady across a longer beat.
Example 04
The visual brief carries sound intent and pacing so the clip arrives with audio in the right register.
01
Describe the subject, action, environment, camera movement, timing and sound intent in one coherent beat.
02
Attach a first and last frame, or a set of reference images, then choose aspect ratio, 4-30 second duration, resolution, audio and output format.
03
Check the credit estimate, submit, and change one instruction at a time after reviewing motion and continuity.
Turn written scene directions into visual material for creative reviews and production planning.
Explore launch scenes, product motion and campaign environments before committing to a shoot.
Produce several longer ideas with different pacing, framing and visual styles from the same brief.
Prepare your input
Describe a single shot or beat first. Several unrelated locations and actions make continuity harder to hold.
A first and last frame pair cannot be combined with reference images, videos or audio in the same task.
Know the limits
Identity, props and background detail can drift over longer generations or rapid scene changes.
Generated sound can support a concept but may still need a dedicated edit and rights review before publishing.
| Option | Best for | Key difference |
|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5 | Longer beats with a pinned look | Reaches 30 seconds, accepts a wide reference set, and exports MP4 or MOV. |
| Seedance 2.0 | Short clips with a 4K option | Caps at 15 seconds and adds 4K output instead of the longer runtime and wider reference set. |
| Veo 3.1 | Film-like prompts and audio-aware ideas | A cinematic alternative with different scene and audio behaviour. |
